Review - Machine Man #14

When I rummage through my bargain bin every so often. I have the advantage to pick up issues just because they look good.  Machine Man #14 had an interesting cover, so I decided to pick it up. I am now glad that I did buy this issue because it was very good.

The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Review

So it has been 2 hours since I have seen it. Let me say this--I love me some Spider-Man, but this movie just did not cut it for me.
I think I am going to just pretty much going to tell it how it is. This had little to none redeeming features. I know its a relaunch and that it is a new Spidey story--yadda yadda I know it.The positive things about this movie is Emma Stone's butt, Dennis Leary, and Spidey's Webslingers (Finally!). I think within the first 45 of the minutes of the movie we get our typical Uncle Ben Story line, but what is Uncle Ben known for his one line "With Great Power, Come Great Responsibility." No where in the damn movie. Huge ball buster there and this should make any Spidey fan pissed. Secondly, where the hell was Harry, I do not recall anything Spider-Man without Harry Osborn or his father. Third, The Lizard, nice way to copy Super Mario Bros. The Movie. The Lizard looks like a damn Goomba. Them were just a few thing that made me upset a little.
Peter Parker/Spider-Man seemed to get beat up alot thru the whole movie with both persona's. Mentally and Physically, it is a non-stop. I almost wanted to shoot myself half way through the movie.
I am going to have to say wait for the DVD. 'Nough said.

P.S-Stan Lee's cameo was funnier than a bitch on a big wheel.

4/10 over.

WATCH OUT!: The Infernal Man-Thing

It's nice to see Man-Thing get some paper time. He does not get enough of it. Well, he did just have a bit of time in Thunderbolts. This a 3 issue run--So pick it up because I am sure it will be great.

Ironman 3 News

I thank Perez Hilton for this new Ironman news.

"To answer that question, we must first discuss the villain. Ben Kingsley is reportedly playing Marvel universe supervillain Mandarin, who employs Chinese scientist Chen Lu to help carry out his plot against Iron Man. After exposing himself to radiation, Lu becomes supervillain Radioactive Man."

How AWESOME is this? Radioactive Man is one of my favorite villians. My wanting of this movie has jumped 10 folds now.

Marvel's This is War Story Arc

Here is a preview of Marvel's new arc coming this fall. Look like The Punisher is going to be the main focus maybe. I thought The Punisher was in space last time I checked.Ok, one question how can a man with bullets take on a God or a man that can heal...the world will never know.

This is war coming this Fall to a comicbook store near you.

C n' C Cosplay Hotties: Ms. Marvel

This is by far one of the best costumes I have ever seen made. It looks like a little photoshop was added to the costume if any cosplay people know about the material they used, holla back.

Ironman Has Another Villian!

Ashley Hamilton has been added to the cast of Ironman 3 as Firepower (Jack Taggert).
Ashley Hamilton
Ironman vs. Firepower

Firepower--What kind of name is that? All most looks like another shot at Whiplash/Crimson Dynamo from Ironman 2. Thoughts?

Worst Comics Ever? Super Pro?

Now anyone who is anyone that collects comics should know about this and if you don't you are definetly missing out on one hell of an issue. Super Pro was a comic done by Marvel in 1991. It ran for 12 straight issue, which in this guy's opinion was wwwaaayyy to long, but it does do one thing to most comic book nerds like us and it gives us a chuckle.
Super Pro's story follows an NFL player name Phil Greyfield. Nice Name...roles of the tounge smooth like butter. Anyways, Phil was in an accident while trying to save a child. One day he was being interviewed by a fellow NFL fan who was a chemist in his spare time showed him a prototype suit that was indestructable. After an accident he pretty much donned the suit to fight crime with. I dare not touch the issue for as I feel bad juju will fall down upon me and Odin will strike me down forever or The shit Monster from Dogma will rip my ass. Super Pro--Just another guy in a crappy outfit. GEEZ...
Super Pro had some awesome enemies though that Marvel should of kept in my opinion. They were corney, but the names were awesome.
  • Quick Kick, a football placekicker turned ninja.
  • Bennings, a footballer turned into an insane giant by steroid abuse.
  • Instant Replay, the assassin who can slice through time.
  • Marco Sanzionare, a crime boss whose dealings are constantly thwarted by Superpro.
My final thought is that everyone should buy this comic just to say that you own it and you are not afraid to admit it.

I can't write about this anymore it is hurting my fingers and my head to type and think this out.
